I really want those stylised, bedroom poster like track designs and atmosphere that the early NFS games had to return in a racing game. Closed tracks that are selling you the mental image of what something should look like (the future city of steel and glass, the rural burger town street race, the sun-kissed ivory coast etc etc).

Counterpoint: the psx version has the best "night" track in the entire series - dolphin cove. PC version got shafted there.

Going analog for this one. It is a shame the pc night version of this is just regular night rather than the pink sunset the psx version is that oozes style.

You do realise the pc version of NFS4 is running the NFS2 engine which is why the handling model is totally fucked right? The cars will do 90 degree turns at high speed if you just left off the power a little. The PC version of graphically inferior to the playstation version outside of resolution AND is missing the two bonus cars from the playstation version. The upside? Tracks you already played in NFS III but with worse physics (because NFS III plays a lot better than IV on PC).
tl;dr fuck off secondary
