Genesis-style dpad for me, currently using pic related. I've found the diagonal detection on analog sticks to be too unreliable (although it's not like I've given them much of a try).
I would like to try a proper arcade stick someday, but good ones are a bit too expensive for something I don't know if I'll end up liking.
