"Ripoff" seems harsh. Vivziepop was always influenced by CDD, that is true (her early animations even lifted some of its choreography, which is the closest to 'ripping off' the movie there is, probably) and a lot of the Lackadaisy cartoon crew is too, although Tracy herself said in a tumblr Q&A that her comic was not very influenced by it at all. It was a very distinctive stylized movie and a lot of people grew up with it, makes sense that bits and pieces of influence would pop up in people's animations and pilots.

Far more rare than all the memes would have you think. In truth, most of the people dropping hundreds or thousands of bucks at a time on art commissions and fursuits and custom dragon dildos have an average or lower income. They just have poor impulse control, bad financial sense, nothing (or nobody) else in life they want to spend their money on, or a combination of those, and the result is they spend a disproportionate amount of their earnings- for some, almost *all* of their spending money- on furry smut.

All of these complaints would be easier to understand if animation fans had *not* spent several weeks shilling for a much uglier and less funny film about K-pop, a topic even more gross and humiliating than dog balls.
