I dunno man. All those bugs that take months to fix and some that still aren't fixed, all those recolors of the same mount over and over, all that bland and boring gear, the terrible story, the boring model customizations that have been the same for so long, and to top it all off, they put in that minimal effort while making it a FOMO seasonal type gaming cycle!
I'm not sure why WoW is losing... It's quite concerning though!
