After only getting three interviews off of over 1800 applications, only one of which went multiple rounds, I finally gave up. I don't play video games but I also don't play pointless HR games either.
This isn't a case of interviewing poorly. I have over twenty years of experience and almost everyone in the US and Canada has made use of my past projects. Companies simply aren't hiring US citizens, at least not white males without gender confusion.
