Why are mangaka seemingly so bad with how long time has passed in stories? You could follow something for years and watch the characters go on a ton of adventures, massive character development only for there to be a line at the end saying that the entire series took place over a couple of months. It seems like the only way they know how to deal with time is timeskips. Dragonball was great with it's passage of time, why can't anyone else do it?
