Don't pretend engineer wasn't the only real profession in classic.
All the other ones just make 1 or 2 molten core BiS or even merely prebis. Otherwise, you can get everything you want from that profession just by paying some other chump who leveled it and got the recipes.
Meanwhile engineer has PvP I-Win stuns, aoe bombs, second hearthstones, battle pets that provide significant unique raidwide buffs and debuffs, vanish+invisibility, spell reflection, mind control, sprint, slowfall, resurrection, repair bots for the homies - all usable only by the engineer.
You can even have someone else forge fucking SULFURAS for you. You have to be retarded not to pick engineer on your main and you have to be retarded to think that's not a problem.
