throwloops in SF2 are very real but retards have to understand that this was when the genre was straight up invented and capcom was already working towards fixing the issue. throw softening was added to later editions of SF2 and by alpha you had throw invul on wakeup.

The way Mais fireball works is exactly emblematic of that.
Its not used like a regular fireball, but as a gay anti neutral tool that turns into a mixup. That series is all about oki and mixup fireballs.
Generally speaking slow fireball into slime is just stun edge xx roman cancel, only that GG games tend to have better movement to maneuver around it.

SFV had by far the best and simplest fix to throwloops.
Its insane that the retard Woshige didnt just copy that when designing 6.
