I don't believe kindness is the solution but I think it's theoretically possible to coexist with them based on their behavior in the anime, that being said I don't think the world as it was presented has a path towards that theoretical.
So while I think Frieren's belief are wrong about the details of demonic nature her approach is the correct one.

Well sure when my dad watched Frieren and Vinland Saga on Netflix he watched them dubbed, I don't think he'd consider himself an anime fan even though he enjoyed them.
It's just that there is a variety of shows on Netflix he and Mum watch so they just watch them all in English. He also watched some live action Vampire show from Turkey dubbed in English, it's just what they default to without consideration.
