Determinator: One of Silver's main traits is his unstoppable hope. In his debut game, he fights Iblis over and over even though he knows it's immortal. In the past, he changes targets to relentlessly pursue the Iblis Trigger, only stopping upon realizing he's on the wrong path. Even when Sonic is dead and Solaris commits a Class X End of the World, he's the only one to maintain hope (even when Shadow seems hopeless). He believes a primordial being can be destroyed, and urges everyone to find the Chaos Emeralds to bring back Sonic. In later games such as Rivals and Forces, he continues to be an unstoppable Determinator even in the most bleak circumstances.
