Doorman is so cool looking and well animated, he's one smooth motherfucker.
I also love all the hints he's way more in the know and powerful than a Doorman for a hotel should be, even in the Cursed Apple. Did anyone else catch that his ult's animation resembles making a geometric pose like the Make Contact gesture (there's a few other ones too) in Bloodborne and the Golden Order gestures in Elden Ring? Not trying to do ">is that a FROM SOFT REFERENCE???" but more like it fits in with Doorman's general power powers of space and time. I heard a patron line about Doorman and laylines which would make a lot of sense and point to an underlying understanding of magic geometry. I'm rambling, but I think Doorman exemplifies the design philosophy of Deadlock's characters being like early 20th century (well Billy less so) with an occult spin. He feels more like something made for Deadlock's world from the ground up than one of the sci-fi characters retooled for the setting like McGinnis.
