I was never on her radar, OP. Best I can get is fat single mothers from age 28 - 36, or women with literal downs syndrome.

I just find myself feeling like my life has no direction. I always thought my purpose was to fall in love and have a family. Everything else, hobbies, career, etc was to bolster that. Now I have a girl and honestly, it doesn't feel like much of anything most days. My career means nothing to me, I don't care about money. I have hobbies but I never do them, I never feel like doing them. Only hanging out with friends makes me feel alive.

How do I find my purpose and something to do with my life? How do I keep going when the end goal I thought I was working for all along isn't all it was cracked up to be?

My mom opened my mail and saw I received an EBT card. She started freaking out saying that "it looks bad" and she said she had never been as angry in her life. She started yelling at me saying it's for poor people. BUT I am poor. I make less than $100 per month. Why is she so angry about ANYTHING. It is my business. The state of Michigan allows individuals who are 23 or older to receive food assistance as long as their household income is below a certain amount. And my household is 1. As after the age of 23, regardless of where you live, your income is your own.

I am really annoyed. She told me she will not allow me to use the card in our town. I hate living with them.
