>Game is not designed to be played with less than three people
>Difficulty 7-10 is 'intended difficulty' range (this is the point where enemy types/spawns/resources are unlocked). Lower difficulties are quite chill and an opportunity to get used to mechanics and controls. Use your SOS beacons or matchmake
>Character levelling and requisition slips do not matter (everyone is perma maxed on slips); Buy all the stratagems for slips in whatever order appeals to you. You need samples collected and extracted during missions to improve your stratagems and ship, I would get Supply Pod Upgrade first. You need Medals to unlock weapons in the warbonds, this is where most of your weapon and armour options come from.
>Enemies get suppressed when fired at making them less accurate. Sprinting and moving around will help you avoid a huge majority of fire. big/slow moving projectiles and melee attacks can be avoided by leaping out of the way which I think gives you some iframes. Being in a dive or prone also reduces the effect of some damage (like explosions) and improves your weapon handling. Just try not to leap off anything too high or you'll ragdoll and take damage.
>Weakspot aiming and armour type is the main difficulty check in the game besides general awareness and positioning. Bots especially demand that you put shots in the right place to efficiently kill them.

My recommendation would be to play lower difficulty bugs with the Punisher shotgun until you unlock some MEDIUM AP class weapons and Anti-Tank strategems (or some options in general). Then jump into bots. Shooting their dropships down is good fun an I enjoy their faction the most.
