Jesus, some of you guys are sick in the head. First off, yes while some states have AOC as 16, those states also have rules around it such as being within a year range of the minor, if the minor is victim to a power dynamic such as being a student, if you are a resident of said state or traveled from another state thats AOC is above the minors age, etecetera. Those laws were set up to make it more lenient towards minors who had sex with each other, but clearly they dont fit the Modern era.
Also, I have no clue why some of you are so eager to argue towards why you should have sex with minors. Like, this fixation on what is defined as an adult, biologically speaking, does not work for humans as we isolate ourselves from instincts and primal urges. We can rationalize our actions and thoughts to define our own rights and wrongs. So yeah, having sex with a minor is fucked up because of the long term consequences it causes to that persons psyche. I am aware some of you do not care which is why I am clarifying the reason it is not accepted in the US. I am sure some of you would jump at the opportunity to reveal yourself to a potential victim, but we fortunately live in an era where you will be caught and showcased to the world as the filthy rats you are. Some of you are future prey to a far scarier predator.
