The Switch had actually asserted itself as the dominant platform for indies by the start of the 2020s and I wouldn't be surprised if given how enthusiast-heavy early adopters of a console are, the Switch 2 continues this trend.
Given that indie games sell the worst on Playstation, this isn't even like a console war shitpost, it's a statistical fact that Playstation users buy the least amount of games for whatever reason, Xbox is going to diluted by Silksong being on game pass, I'm actually going to say it's probably a safe bet that Switch 1/2 sales of something that runs well on the platform like Hollow Knight and Silksong in the short term will probably be stronger than Steam. In the long term, depending on whether or not Steam gets a discount before the eshop.
Your average Switch 1/2 owner buys more games than your median(key word being more valuable for a service not tied to specific hardware) Steam user which is also just going to weigh it more towards the eshop.
