I think its biggest problem is that it needs a better writer. I think the core of it is fine enough, I like using castoff villains, the supporting cast is fine so far and the art works for the book. But it needs someone who can inject a little more pop into the book and better balance out Maka's real life with her superhero stuff. I enjoy it well enough but it's missing a writer to bring it up from a 3/5 to a 4 or a 5. But I don't really know who would be good for the job.
