But thats literally their only job here, I get that combos and vortex shit are easier, but this isn't a free to play indie game, they should have hammered the easy stuff out in like a month and then spent all that dev time doing the harder shit that makes the game actually fun to play. Its like they did it the other way around and hammered out the neutral dynamics in a few weeks and then put all of their time and effort into combos and vortex shit to make sure that their beloved rushdown bullshit was exactly the way they like it, going as far as changing core mechanics of the game to be more like Guilty Gear like adding retarded gattling jabs so jab strings never have bad timing/gaps, and changing stun to punish people for blocking while also rewarding vortex corner pressure bullshit with stun while zoners and grapplers will almost never get stun because they aren't exclusively trapping people in the corner. These devs seem like they have some kinda autism and just cannot bring themselves to even pretend to care about anything but rushdown and how good its gonna be. If they're spending any time worrying about neutral during post-launch updates, its only to ponder things like "Hmm, how do we stop this from preventing people from getting to the fun part and running vortex pressure or doing blockstrings in the corner? This seems to be able to stop people from doing that and that isn't fun", they've had people telling them that the drive system ruins the fun of the game for 2 years now and all they gathered from that was "we hear you, we will be nerfing parry so its harder to stop rushdown vortex pressure :)" while leaving it just as braindead for shit like perfect parry anti-airs and other unfun cringe bullshit caused by PP.

I am going to get to Grand Master without ever using drive rush just so I can say this game fucking sucks without people telling me my opinion isn't real because I don't have 2000+ MR

These were also for more specific things. You would tell someone to go back to gaia if they were being an entry level weeb that you would see at a highschool with an invader zim backpack or something, and the live journal/tumblr things are more from an era when /v/ was angry about feminists because they were trying to tell developers what they are allowed to put in games, but this is before newfags just started to hate feminists for being feminists and started getting angry at developers and trying to tell them what they are allowed to put into games. The current issue with newfags and reddit is that it doesn't mean anything anymore, they will call literally anything reddit for any reason. Its bordering on schizo shit where people will just imagine that all the REAL people from 4chan agree with them and think their opinions are cool and based, and everyone that disagrees with them and doesn't like their opinions MUST be from reddit. All this "um, cringe thats very reddit of you" shit does is turn 4chan more into reddit than anything by allowing people to try and reinforce reddit style groupthink and echo chambers but through negative reinforcement rather than positive reinforcement.

There is literally nothing "reddit" about a T-Rex on a course in Mario Kart, but that anon doesn't like it so he must call it reddit to try and stop the other anon from feeling okay talking about it.
Ultimately, what I'm saying is that anyone trying to shut down open discussion and honesty on 4chan is more ""reddit"" than reddit itself. If there is anything that should go back, its this attitude that you are only allowed to have certain opinions or views on 4chan when one of the most appealing aspects of 4chan is that everyone can be honest.
