As it is in wrestling, the responsibility is on the one with the advantage, to make something happen.
Why do you think there's a shot clock in basketball? If one team just holds the ball and doesn't attack, it's the team with the ball that is stalling and therefore subject to a shot-clock violation - that's how basketball deals with stalling. It's not the opponents responsibility to "unstall" the situation caused by the "staller".
The UFC needs more aggressive stalling rules, otherwise, they're only incentivizing it.

What was supposed to be the "Fight of 2025", was nothing but one guy laying on another, trying not to lose. Dumbass commentators thinking playing not to lose, is the same as winning, even going as far as calling it "domination". The guy laid on him for five rounds. IDC who fucken wins, just be entertaining. This was horrible. Looked fixed, and I wish I had a time machine so I could get my time back.
