1: ROM - it is NOT what u think it is, u have no clue what scapula is doing to allow u to perform retardo motions in "full rom"
if u are lean enough u can sorta see but only from behind so u need camera at your back while u're looking at the screen real time
keeping that in mind:
2: almost every motion works great in isometric hold provided that u keep your lat spread
yes ohp, upright row, behind the neck press, lateral raises - they all fucking work provided u keep your lat spread at all times and HOLD the necessarily light dumbbell with delt up, lat spread with shoulder dropped DOWN, don't hike it

in practice it means that u're just playing around with dumbbels, and one dumbbel might be better - so learn the lat spread, learn to control your scapular movement, it's the key to shoulder health and growth
