I don't play it but some of the people I know who play it say it's good since you can consider one hard form of CC to = 15,000 damage and WAR has two very scary forms of CC. I'm not entirely sure if it's actually stronger or if the Puri changes balance it out though, you'd need to ask an actual WAR player like Akam.
