How good can a partscaster get? I'm thinking of getting a sonic tele and taking it to a luthier for a full fret leveling and polishing + setup + putting fender pickups on it.

What's the point of diminishing returns when it comes teles? What's the cheapest one i can buy that's just good?

What model/series is the point of diminishing returns when it comes to strats and teles? Just tried a sonic tele and honestly it felt fine.
