science is only science if, when applying the scientific method, I get results I like it. If I get mixed, confusing results after many experiments and much research it means that researching it is stupid then it stops being science because it doesn't have an obvious answer. i am very smart.
also if I can't do all the steps in order it just stops being science, which is why astronomy is famously not called scientific even though its 99% data collection. i am very smart.
