Is there a game you keep playing despite losing your enjoyment?

My friends and I want to open our own minecraft server. I haven't played the game since April 2015 on 360 and don't like the look of a lot of the modern stuff.
Any mods/knowledge or advice I should know before going in?

I'm studying hard to get a job that will make me rich. It's possible, but it will take at least two years.

But I also want to use my time to pick up women... I feel like I need to do both or I'll have that missing out feeling.
