I posited a while back that the Helldivers are subject to hypnosis training during cryosleep, similar to how the mobile infantry in Starship Troopers (the book) get their mission briefing via hypnosis. It would make sense for Super Earth to pick members of the SEAF that show exceptional stamina and loyalty to Super Earth, subject them to a weedout course to separate the wheat from the chaff, and then give them the rest of their training during their cryosleep. It would also give an explanation for why the Helldiver sent down to reinforce after every death knows the plan the previous Helldiver was trying to execute - they got the plan through hypnosis.
