>tfw my nephews were talking about the Marvel movies as "classics" and how they "remember" going to the cinema to watch them

Meanwhile here's my old ass remembering the nights I went to the premiers of Jurassic Park II, Lord Of The Rings, Twister, Deep Blue Sea, Cast Away, Deep Impact, the Harry Potter movies and so forth.

Work Spouse Scenario
I feel as though my girlfriend is treating a co-worker / friend as a work husband in that they are too close for my own comfort. This isn't a sexual or romantic thing in the least, because he is gay and married, while I'm straight and my girl is bisexual. My issues stem from her and I being partners in all regards, with the foundation of it being as best friends and creative partners before we realized how we felt and got involved sexually. There has been apathy for our project and more excitement and passion for the creative endeavor she is working towards launching with her coworker soon. She's not willing to see things from my perspective, justifying all of it whilst being highly defensive.

This bothers me quite a bit, and I have tried to get across to her about it. Things are going good in other sectors and facets, but this irks me badly.

When I realized I should have realized what was going on when I was a freshman in highschool when it happened. They wheeled tvs in. I feel like if I wasnt there or was out sick, someone would have made me see or witness it. It was mindwashing irl.
