I physically can’t scream, my range is too low. (I may also have a speech impediment).
When I try to scream, I start, and then almost immediately my voice cracks and nothing comes out. The last time my body tried to scream as a reflex, when I broke my leg, nothing came out at all, and it hurt (to try). When I’m in pain I make loud noises, but at a certain point it transitions into me trying to make a noise I physically cannot, and my voice suddenly cracks and I go silent.
Does this mean I’m not going to make it?
Does anyone have any tips on voice training with a super super low vocal range? My speech pathologist is useless.
