Because there is undoubtedly hidden MMR in the game, otherwise I wouldn't be playing former GM/Celestial/Eternity players all the time in lower ranks, in fact my fucking queue is longer in Comp when I dont grind it early season and I assume its because the game refuses to put me up against newer players in said rank.

One streamer had bucky, and Hela lord'd
he was playing lord BP. any duelist that required skill he never touched and he fell back on the crutches when he was getting filtered on dive.

the other streamer had bucky and hela lord'd and was working on hawkguy in quickplay

I just cant join the 3 people spamming statistics and data in their delusion, I see what I see in my MMR and im definitely not shit at the game.
