I’m thinking of starting an Ork army after starting with space marines. I understand everything is detachments now, but how would one go about making the whole army freebootaz? Is it completely up to 3d printing to give them all pirate stuff? Or do most people just run them as an amalgamation of all the clans?

So do most people just kit bash their own Space Marine lieutenants? I’m looking at the datasheet and they seem completely basic weapon wise to use bits for, and the $40 model is pretty boring anyway.
