I'm sorry your father ran out on you anon. My father was there for my life. Now in my 40s don't talk to him much. We fell out a couple years ago. But he did the bare necessities through my life and that's saying a little much on his end. He wasn't really a good father. And I'm being a better father for my kids than he was for me. Then again he didn't have a dad so maybe that's to blame. I believe his father was an abusive drunk.
Also you have to remember people have their own lives. They need to live their own lives as well. Just because you have kids doesn't mean you stop living your life and doing what you want to do. How old are you?
