not true, it was like 80+ "attempts" but that included going out to sea but getting cancelled and not actually diving
which is what happened like 90% of the time
in reality it did only like 13 dives to the titanic, and i think thta includes both hulls they built
they recently revealed a lot of details from the official investigation, hence all the new documentaries that just came out like Netflix and Discovery
