It's a good game but it's the worst Dragon's Dogma game (Online is better overall if you can play it). The focus is way more on having a bunch of semi-hardcore systems and the world and less on combat and individual NPCs despite most of the fans of Dark Arisen really liking the combat and a small group of memorable characters. Nobody in 2 can touch Grigori, Daimon, Mercedes, Edmun, Madeleine, Selene, Fournival, Julien, Mason, etc. The new vocations seem more designed around preventing some of the broken strats from DA and requiring a more rounded-out party of pawns, and the missing ones from both DA & Online are missed; also enemy variety is kind of dire.

It's maybe a 7/10, Kunitsu-Gami was the far better Capcom game from last year.

Absolutely based, that was my 2024 GOTY and I haven't even touched the score chaser mode they patched in yet. Best Capcom game in ages.
