The Soviets, Poles, Romanians, Hungarians, Jews, Allied planes, Germans (including high ranking Nazis, all of them defending themselvs by saying that they were forced to do it/only following orders, not a single one denying a whole thing) all know about Holocaust, it was just hard to gauge the most closes to the truth numbers (yes retard, in a large conflicts or tragedies where millions die it's often hard to do that to the person)
And Holocaust also was happening in Germany and on the Western front, just a smaller part of it (but still enough for the Western Allies to discover the mass graves in April and May)
