The night time halo 3 campaign pack is great. The flashlight version is goated. In addition to making the game look gothic and vivid, it gives the assault rifle headshot capability which plays surprisingly well. There's also an incomplete mod pack that puts halo 3's levels in odst's engine with some new weapons and they look and play a lot better than the originals.

considering how aggressively shadows are culled in halo 3, i think the 360 just couldn't handle it. the closest we have is blackout. but that has bright lights everywhere.
