OPM was a meme FOTS. A lot of good freelancers thought it was fun to work on it for the novelty of it. But the novelty wore off after the first season. Now it's just sad and embarrassing, dragging the meme for over a decade, nobody even thinks it's funny anymore. Black Clover might be a generic shonenshit, but at least in that it is to an extent timeless and doesn't rely on an ephemeral gimmick.
