You can use the threat of the breaker to insulate Perturabo from early charges launched by enemy primarchs, something you don't have to worry about with other lads, who gives a shit if Guilliman has ten lascannons stood behind him after all.
Besides, its pretty funny conceptually and entirely in character for Perturabo.
