Option 1 would be alright and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Yurifag. Option 1 at least makes it feel like some development has happened from where we left off at Rebellion. Option 2 would just make it feel like everything has been pointless
I still think it's more likely either Homura will die or the ending is going to be some sort of very direct sequel bait for a 5th movie. Honestly i just hope the ending is satisfying
