With what has been set up, in my opinion, it would be the best outcome for both characters. They have enough parallels and similarities to make me think they can complement each other very well. Even the average viewer has started to realize this since the last short. Loona x Collin isn't that bad, but I dislike it on principle because it's just off-brand Loona x Moxxie.
And Millie could finally beat the 'she's just Moxxie's wife' allegations by stopping being Moxxie's wife, kek.
But Viv probably will handle all of this horribly and make Honeybunch canon just because Erica Lindbeck likes it.

There are deliberate decisions being made for things like pic related. Moxxie is not just a butt-monkey. And Millie is not the perfect wife you think her to be. But, fine, I'll stop. I believe that's intended. They're the healthiest relationship in the show. They're an example of how to do things right because they actually communicate to each other, unlike the others, including Millie and Moxxie.
