I was really surprised when Crash became popular again in the late 2010s. When I was growing up, Crash and Spyro were both considered bargain bin-level C-grade platforming franchises compared to Mario and Sonic. The only ones I ever played were those godawful GBA crossover games.

No trolling and shit. Okay, so they have Supergirl, Clayface, Swamp Thing and Sgt Rock planned for 2027-2028 as far as I can remember.

What are your personal thoughts? IMHO, this lineup is straight up incompetent especially since Superman seems to be falling off. I wonder how this lineup even got approved. If the DCU fails, what do you think will happen?

Superman has existed for nearly 100 years and has had ten times that many people write stories for him, so yes and no are equally correct answers to this question.
But in general it's usually implied that he's naturally scrappy for his solo runs and is trained properly down the line by JL allies (mostly Batman) or supervillains like Mongul who are trying to groom him into becoming a deadly warrior

I'll get shit for this, I'm sure, but since there hasn't been a ballot or anything I have a feeling we're going to go back to a more traditional "Membah last/early current gen games?" Smash roster.
Like how Brawl was a big Gamecube and GBA wankfest, and Smash 4 was a 3DS and Wii circlejerk.

So I suspect the newcomers will mostly be from Switch games that missed out on Ultimate and from marketing synergy Switch 2 games (like Pokemon that are selected from concept art)

And since we know Donkey Kong is getting a total overhaul due to his new design I think this new game is going to be more about dusting off and bringing the entire cast up to "modern quality" to justify the large amount of cuts and smaller overall roster.

Also Smash has never cut an entire Nintendo IP from the game except for Ice Climbers for technical reasons, and that cut lasted exactly one game. Don't expect smaller characters like Minmin or Duck Hunt to leave. The cuts will probably be comprised of third parties, low priority secondary characters, and "one-shot" characters like RPG self inserts and Pokemon starters cough cough Incineroar
