I think chuck e cheese should have leaned into fnaf bringing animatronics to the forefront by not only keeping the animatronics but redesigning the characters to look more robotic

Maybe it’s just me but I think they should have made use of the veil being completely lifted for kids about their mascots just being weird animatronics, actively leaning into it and redesigning the characters to look more robotic but in more of a cartoonish manner compared to fnaf. Kids clearly love animatronics as a concept as evidenced by the success of fnaf and even before fnaf, kids have always loved robots.
