I just think it makes the most sense because she specifically went back home and tried to kill everybody. As far as we know she didn't kill any monsters in the Underground prior to her attempted rampage, so it sounds more like a specific grudge rather than her just being an indiscriminate psychopathic murderer.
Sure maybe she was like Rhoda from The Bad Seed but felt she HAD to start the killing spree that specific way for REASONS.. But that feels like more of a reach than "Angry child attempts the equivalent of a mass shooting in the place that made her angry", yanno?
