Great brains think alike, and have similar tastes seemingly.
>headpats
Perhaps, both giving and receiving.
>two very tired and very irritable vampires
There's only one tired and irritable vampire in my duo and it's the one you wouldn't expect. He is more optimistic, self-assured, resolved. A vampire of darkness yet manages to be a light all the time.

Makes sense. Your little mess. Might be similar with us too, moreso combating messes outside of our control together.

I didn't get access to those. The fact that vampires exist is controlled, but if it gets out people generally blow it off as nonsense, so it isn't as tightly controlled as the specific places vampires live today. I think only the Pope, a handful of Vatican officials, and the people who take care of the vampires day to day get to know the locations.
There's a lay order dedicated to the whole thing but I don't know what it's called, information about it was also pretty tightly controlled. Supposedly some of the restricted sections of the Vatican Archives (the ones they don't even allow academic researchers in) are where the historical records from the "vampire war" are kept, but since some of the information in there is still relevant today, few people get to go there.
I only got to know any of this because I was working on something else and needed to know specific things about their biology in order to investigate something that my country thought was a threat to national security (which I will not talk about). I'm not Catholic myself and I kinda feel like that was one reason the Vatican people I worked with didn't want to entertain my questions or attempts to get more information.

The artist on the OP pic is also a faceless ripped dude. It makes sense considering Remi respect strength.
