CSIV is objectively tbe best game falcom have ever made. Their answer to Tolstoy's War and Peace. They should have ended the series after and end it on the highest note humanly imaginable. It felt like Falcom's dream team assembled for one final stroke of genius, one magnum opus and they delivered.

I always like to compare CSIV as their magnum opus, their War and Piece in scale. I think no game I've ever played had that kind of grandiose scale or ambition. I still get shivers thinking back on all those moments in the game.
