You have it backwards, fear of judgement is more important then mere righteousness. I mean the Koran literally says that believers who act bad will suffer worse then anyone else and the reason for this is: intentions and actions matter more then rationalizations and self righteousness.

That is true to a degree, but then why does the Koran repeat the same bible story's. I remember one was repeated 3 times at different points.
