Like, think about it
You go past the event horizon, and the concept of 'away' gets obliterated. Every direction leads towards the singularity. Space is being fucked so hard by a point of infinite density that fundamental things you and I take for granted, like being able to move in multiple dimensions, are actively being suppressed by physical phenomena far in excess of anything nature trained us to comprehend.
Raise your hand. Move it back and forth. Now imagine that whichever way you move it, it is always going towards the same point, no matter what. You try to move backwards, but that also just takes you closer to the point. You spin around, but you don't, because that implies a direction which isn't 'toward the singularity' is being allowed to exist.
