Hwre in USA it's easy to stop a lease at the end and not renew.
However, depending on the state (deep conservative vs far left commie hellscape) Places like Cali & NY, it's impossible to evict someone for not paying. You gotta wait like 3mo before getting an eviction notice, then it's like another 3mo beforeyou can get anything done about it. Linger if you don't do the next required step on the 1st available date. Let alone during covid, you could just not pay and couldn't get evicted for like 2yrs & the landlord couldn't do shit. Since dems in USA congress changed USA govt laws, so that groids in any state couldn't get evicted for not paying & they refused to repeal it even after lockdowns ended and people went back to work (at high pay, if a no-skilled job. Since they kept getting more money to not work, than their salary to work. Then didn't want ro work after the free money ended, since they felt they were too valuable & the pay now seemed low & were getting paid $60k-$350k+/yr to protest by Soros... ehich is the reason they did the free more money than working, so ppl wouldn't have to work and would be bored and accept money for rioting...or even do it for free to steal thousands in merchandise each night. Which was to get corps to bribe them into flooding the nation with illegals to get any labor, let alone ultra cheap under the table labor without having to pay 15% of the salary in payroll fees. Whoch continued since the groids got used to not working & didn't want to go back. All the young generations also just simply lived in their mom's basement & didn't want to work either
Which made the open borders even worse & did the corporate goal, of plummeting wages as now they had tons more ppl willing to work, than jobs abailable (20M extra illegals... and ppl that ran out of savings or got kicked out of mom's basement... or ran outnof stimulus check money. So the $18-21/hr starting pay at dominos plummeted to pre-covid despite 25% inflation
