Not that anyone cares because nobody on this board plays videogames but I thought Visions of Mana did a good localization job. It uses flowery language that reads as if it was actually written by natural english speakers without altering the source too much.
On the other hand, stuff like FF7R and FF7R2 go full retard with their localization often completely changing or leaving out the meanings of the Japanese-spoken sentences.
