not him, but for me I read WAY slower than audio books progress, because I will sit and think about what people are saying. Audiobooks are a constant stream, while reading is more a stop and go thing for me. That's not to say that I can't read quickly, but I don't if the story is interesting. I suppose you could pause and rewind audiobooks too, but that's not how most people engage with it. As a result, I find I am way more engaged while reading than listening
