>it was being labelled as "pneumonia" in severe cases
>governments realise it's a Chinese lab-leak virus
>put the people into lockdown for no reason, despite the virus already being spread around for months
>MOST PEOPLE FUCKING ACCEPTED IT
>police literally arresting or fining people for being outside in the free air
>ban people from shops for not wearing masks
>social media full of hysteria that normal people were killing everyone by not staying inside
>"aren't you ashamed you're putting people's lives at risk being outside?!" despite the people at risk being inside anyway
>UK government starts putting sick patients in oldfolks homes
>"we need lockdowns because deaths are going up"
>don't mention deaths are going up BECAUSE of lockdowns and their decision to turn oldfolks homes into plague houses
>after a couple of years of on and off house arrest for EVERYONE, decide to "relax" the rules
>claim it's because the vaccines are working
>the truth all starts coming out
>government was giving lucrative contracts to their friends for things we didn't need
>small businesses collapsed and left people needing to become wageslaves again
>government decision to put the sick in oldfolks homes caused the death spikes
>vaccines weren't actually effective, didn't stop transmission, only reduced symptoms for about 4 months after having it
>masks didn't work, they're only designed to catch actual droplets from sneezes and coughs, not viruses
