First day on the internet?

As another jani of /his/, I'll offer my thoughts on the subject as well.

First, while I agree that posters should be able to discuss religion on /his/ from a philosophical point of view, I also agree that religion vs. religion threads don't belong on /his/ at all. I also agree that STEM threads and atheism threads likewise don't belong.

Another thing I think should be limited is discussion of contemporary "philosophers." /his/ often has good discussion about specific kinds of philosophy, but far too often will an OP start a thread with a picture of some random jack-off from the 21st century and a caption like, "is he right?" or "is he the modern day ____?"

Another jani had the idea that the 25-year rule should extend to all areas of the board, including philosophy, and I agree.
