after playing nod krai for 3 days here are my thoughts about it

story: pretty good, I like the characters, the beats and the twists, it still has some genshin staple nonsensical stuff but overall quite good
combat: a good variety of enemies with different mechanics, pretty good
exploration: pretty ass, 90% of the puzzles is "grab flying rock, throw flying rock at thing", the mirror puzzles sound decent in theory but in practice they're way too easy, half the time you just move the statue in a straight line while ignoring the obvious red herrings and that's it, overall pretty bad, monotonous, clunky, way too easy
side content: it definitely feels a lot more streamlined, all the world quests connect into one overarching story of the region, instead of having one really long world quest like the aranaras or the sacred sakura tree it's divided into like 6 subquests that then reach the climax at the end in one final world quest, it's a pretty good system, I like it so far
atmosphere: very good, I enjoyed all 3 islands, each feels unique and interesting, granted lauma's islands feels a bit off, like why are all these people living in ruins, just build a new house dude, you don't need to live in rubble your whole life, I get it, survivors of ancient civilisation and blahblahblah but just, build a house

overall bretty good, the exploration was very lacking this time though, and we've already had this positive-negative technology machine gimmick done better in fontaine

depends on what time period you're talking about, ptolemaic egypt had greek rulers (after alexander the great's conquest of the region) and before that they were ruled by the persian empire, and I mean you can debate whether persians are "white" or not, and before that it was egyptian dynasties who probably were just north african semitic type people, and there was also a dynasty of "black pharaohs" but it's unclear whether that black refers to their skin color or just some other characteristic, like their clothes or something, but of course the "we wuz kangs' is talking about those pharaohs, there's no definitive proof that they were black skinned but there's also no definitive proof that they weren't, so if you want to speculate about history then you can make them out to be black skinned
